Meet a Lifelong Bookworm!

I was introduced to books at an early age. I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t reading. I must have gone through millions of pages by now!

My amount of reading has increased out of my own curiosity, work, job hunting, and learning new skills. In the process, I thought it was high time I organized my overstuffed bookshelves, and perhaps review new and old favorites just for fun. I also have trouble staying away from my local libraries, so I’ll include the titles I find there as well. I may not be the greatest writer in the world, but I’ll try. All I can offer is enthusiasm.

I often collect quotes–both inspirational and those from famous authors. One favorite is “I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library.”  — Jorge Luis Borges

A banner at my local library quotes Thomas Jefferson: “I cannot live without books.” I guess that would be me. I hope you find something interesting here.
